One of the first questions people ask when they start getting into trikes is how to transport them and store them. If you don't have a folding trike you'll need to put the trike in or on your vehicle. We offer many hitch solutions to carry one or two trikes or even a combination of trikes and bikes. We also offer solutions for minimizing the storage space.
The Sport Rider SE2 is a heavy-duty 2-bike hitch rack that will fit almost any style of bike using new universal locking frame hooks and adjustable wheel holders. You can easily load and unload your bikes by dropping them into the wheel holders and sliding the ratcheting locking hook down onto the frame to secure the bike. Featuring Hollywood Racks patented No Wobble-No Tools hitch tightening system, a keyed-alike locking hitch pin, and security cable, with the Sport Rider SE2 your bikes are as secure as ever. This rack can be folded flat against the car when not being used and tilted in order to easily gain access to the cargo area. For 2 inch hitches only.
The base rack, the HR1500 Sport Rider for E-Bikes, protrudes 30 inches, and the Trike Adapter adds another 36 inches to that measurement. Not included
The space between the main frames of the bike and the trike is 14 inches. The space between the handlebars will be less, but the amount of handlebar space depends on the specific bike and trike.
Note: If you order the Anti-Sway Device you won't need the Silent Hitch Lock . The Silent Hitch Lock will tighten the carrier to the hitch acting as a stabilizer as well as locking the carrier to the hitch. This will only work with our Alpaca Tadpole Carriers for 2-inch hitches. -
