Trike Adventures Under the Sun: Making the Most of Summer Riding

With summer about to come to it's end and the seasons about to change many riders may find themselves wondering how to make the most out of the summer they have left. In this article we'll cover some fun ideas of things you can do to get the most out of trike while it's still the summer riding season.

Ride During Cooler Times

Riding during cooler times can help you get the most out of riding in the summer. Luckily with it being the tale end of summer cooler times are getting more and more frequent. Early morning and late evenings are going to be the best time to ride. Avoid ring during the middle of the day when the sun is at it's peak. Even with the seasons changing this is still be the warmest time to ride.

Stay Hydrated

Bring Plenty of Water: Always carry enough water with you. Consider using a hydration pack or water bottles mounted to your trike. Drink regularly, even if you don't feel thirsty.

Electrolyte Drinks: In addition to water, consider packing electrolyte drinks to replenish the salts lost through sweat, helping you stay energized during longer rides. I'd like to recommend Liquid IV. They come in a bunch of different flavors and you can add it into to your water for easy hydration. They also come in easy little pouches that are easy to take with you. - Hannah, media team.

Choose Shaded Routes

Tree-Lined Paths: Plan your routes along tree-lined streets, shaded parks, or paths that offer some relief from the sun. The shade not only cools you down but also adds to the enjoyment of the ride.

Near Water: Riding along bodies of water, such as lakes or rivers, can offer cooler air and stunning scenery, making your summer ride more pleasant.
