The Enviolo hub is a variable gearing system (much like a CVT Transmission in a car) Instead of having set gear sizes it variably adjusts the resistance on the gearing, giving you the most efficient gear possible. And with the Automatiq you don't even have to think about it. The Automatiq attachment will shift gears up and down without any rider input giving you the most simple ride you could ask for.
