Our Most Capable Quad Yet!

For years, Utah Trikes has been working on a secret project, and we are excited to introduce the all-new Revolution 4x4 eQuad FS! We started with the eQuad platform and took it on a journey towards a more reliable, efficient, and powerful quad. We focused on enhancing adaptability, safety, and comfort while keeping up with the pace of the job. We have now developed a quad that is puncture-proof, has custom full suspension, WAY more power, and more adaptive options than ever before. All based on the numerous requests we received from our customers. Our quad is designed to handle anything you throw at it. We are confident that you will be impressed with what we have accomplished, and we can't wait to share it with you!

Introducing the new 4X4 Revolution eQuad FS! This quad comes with dual batteries, integrated headlights and tail lights, and is equipped with either an upright seat or our Revolution Recumbent Seat, along with a safety belt and mirror. Additionally, you have the choice of footplates or a skid plate. You can also upgrade to a Pedal Hybrid if you wish. Scroll down for more exciting options!

In order to construct a 4x4 quad, we needed to have strong hub motors. However, not just any hub motor would suffice. After several attempts, we decided to develop our own hub motor that could be integrated into mag wheels. Each motor can produce 1750W of output, with a total peak output of 7000W. Each mag wheel features a 20M 4130 ultra-hardened steel axle and anodized aluminium motor cover, which are designed to help you tackle steep hills and rough terrains with ease. Moreover, you never have to worry about breaking a spoke again! To prevent any flats, each 4x4 Quad will now come with stock Tannus Armour puncture protection. Tannus Armour is an excellent addition to our shop that safeguards your tube against 90% of common bike flats with the help of 15mm of multi-cell foam. Say goodbye to pinch and puncture flats. And if you do get a flat, Tannus Armour has "Run-Flat" technology that lets you ride a few miles without damaging your rim.

Controller, Display, and Levels of Assist

To power our integrated hub motors, we obviously needed a new controller. With nothing on the market we did what we do best and made our own custom controller. Our custom controller features redundancies- meaning if a motor fails, it can still drive on 1,2, or 3 motors at a time. Never leaving you stranded. Our controller and motors come with a unique display that has 5 levels of assist: Level 1 -3.5MPH Level 2- 7.5MPH Level 3 - 13.5MPH Level 4 - 20MPH Level 5 - 20MPH-Up to 30MPH Our all new controller also features reverse for not both pedal-hybrid and non pedal hybrid 4x4's a big upgrade from our original eQuad. Please note that while the display is waterproof, the rest of the electrical components should NEVER be submerged in water.

Battery Power

Our UL listed 1600WH dual batteries offer a range of approximately 20 miles. However, if you need more range, don't worry, you have the option of upgrading to 3 or 4 batteries adding not only additional range, but 800WH per battery. (Range up to roughly 120 miles, and 4800WH maximum) Keep in mind that with 3 or more batteries, you will need to upgrade to our Custom Cargo Rack.

Dual Hydraulic Brakes

The Equad FS 4x4 is a large vehicle that needs an efficient braking system for safety. That's why we have equipped it with dual hydraulic brakes at both the front and rear ends. Each brake caliper going to 160mm rotor. Our hydraulic brakes are custom-made to the perfect length for our quads, and come with a locking brake pin, which keeps the quad in the park position when it's not being used or when you're transferring to or from your eQuad. They're easy to maintain and any certified recumbent trike/bike shop can do general maintenance and yearly tune-ups.

Steering

Steering - To accommodate the beefier suspension, we upgraded our steering components to M10 hardware all around vs the M8 hardware from our original eQuad. Our tiller steering mechanism is patented and designed to be intuitive and easily adjustable. Unlike other steering systems, the tiller steering uses a simple "push/pull" motion, which is easy to get used to. We have also added quick-release rod ends to enable you to fold the handlebars down entirely for storage and transportation. To fold the handlebars, all you have to do is pull back on the tie rod spring to release the corresponding ball joint. And voila! Your handlebars are neatly folded out of the way.

All-New Custom Suspension

We have designed a unique suspension system that includes adjustable air shocks in the front and rear, which makes it effortless to navigate through any challenging off-road terrain. For every 4X4 quad, we use the A5-RR1 shock type for both the front and rear shocks. This shock type is remarkable for being lightweight. It utilizes air as the spring medium, providing excellent adjustability without compromising on weight. You can customize the preload and top-out to your liking by adjusting the pressure in the main and negative air chambers. This means you have infinite options to tailor the shock to your preferences, which ensures you get the highest level of comfort possible!

Pedal-Hybrid Option

Upgrade your 4x4 eQuad FS to a Pedal Hybrid and stand out from the crowd! With this upgrade, you'll get our Revolution Posi Differential Kit, 14-speed Rohloff hub, which is the best-integrated hub for quads and trikes, and our newly re-designed full-length Rohloff shifter. This combo just can't be beat.

Seat Options

You can choose to go with the standard Upright seat with easy slides, or our adjustable Recumbent seat with custom Revolution mesh/cargo bag. All 4x4 eQuads will come with a lap belt for your safety

Front Bumper

Depending on the configuration you want we offer either our platform footplates, or a custom skid plate style front bumper. All complete with and easy quick release mechanism to quickly removed for storage or transportation. - if you opt for the Pedal Hybrid quad the front boom is able to slide in and out to adjust to rider height - rather than a quick release. We are offering the front bumpers in a Standard length, or XL

Adaptability

Our Revolution armrests are fully adjustable, raise or lower them to your preference! You can even flip them to sit lower. This simple design is so versatile, and truly ready to be used in any fashion most comfortable to YOU.

A new addition to our Catalog is our Revolution Leg Rest. We make every leg rest in our shop, and this one can be cut to a custom length if needed. Complete with extra-thick foam and a leg band (not pictured). Now you can keep your legs straight and away from the wheels without sacrificing comfort for safety!

Headrest

We have a custom-made Revolution Super Headrest available for both the upright seat or recumbent seat. It is paired with our shop's favorite Cateye ViZ450 Taillight featuring 5 LEDs that produce a massive 450 lm on Daytime Hyperflash mode. The taillight has a maximum run time of 70 hours on Flash mode and comes with a 1000mAh lithium ion battery. Additionally, it has 4 modes - Constant, Flashing, Daytime Hyperflash Group Ride - to ensure that you can be easily seen while sharing trails and roadways.
