The Journey features a unique design that is sure to turn heads as you pass the other riders. The contoured frame is a two-piece design fabricated from heat-treated aluminum. The frame is a show piece with its premium TIG welded joints.
The Journey features a unique flowing design with a two-piece frame.
The cross arm assembly bolts on to the frame making it easy to collapse the frame into a smaller size.
The Journey features a triangulated rear end making it extremely stiff and responsive. This trike can turn hard and fast without any frame flexing.
The Journey features a 27-speed drivetrain with the Truvativ Isoflow Road Crank.
This trike features the SRAM X.7 derailleurs front and rear as well as the X.7 shifters. The SRAM X.7 set utilizes a 1:1 cable actuation making it extremely precise and easy to adjust.
Share your comments below: Do you carry the fenders for this trike? I have an Actionbent T1 which looks identical to this except for a 700c rear wheel. The dealer I purchased from keeps telling me they don't have fenders in stock (they were supposed to come with the bike). Posted by Richard 08/08/2009 09:53:53 AM Yes. We have all the fenders in stock. Give us a call and we can set you up with a set. How adjustable is the seat back in degrees? Posted by Greg 02/02/2010 02:27:30 AM There are 3 seat positions with about 10 debrees total movement. Will the new catrike wheel extensions work on this trike? Posted by Anonymous 02/28/2010 05:08:17 AM No. Extensions must be made specifically for the model. Can you add non-custom rear rack and panniers? Can it tow a child trailer? Posted by outdoordad 03/01/2010 09:20:19 AM The Journey will tow any standard bike trailer. can it be made Electric? Posted by Huli 03/04/2010 08:03:31 AM Yes How does this compare to the Trident Stowaway II? Posted by wheatstate 03/19/2010 11:22:38 PM Totally different feature set. The Journey is faster for sure, but the Stowaway is foldable and the mesh seat is going to be more comfortable for most people. I wonder about the front axle bolting to the main frame. Could there be any alignment issues with this design? Posted by Smitty 04/17/2010 09:13:06 AM No the front is all one unit and alignment is maintained. Regarding a rear rack, it can most likely be attached on top to the two bolts that hold the head rest in place (whether you decide to use the head rest or not). That's how I have my topeak rack attaches on my Actionbent/TW-Bents/Performer trike. Posted by jeff-o 04/22/2010 09:36:01 PM |
