Have you had any problems with the strap that is tightened around the derailleur post breaking. I have had two topeak units similar to this break.

No, I have not heard any reports of the mount breaking. We have sold 100s of these without much incidence.

This has turned out to be pretty much useless for me. I Have two Light & Motion Vega headlights mounted on the bar. When riding on rough roads the vibration causes the arm to rotate down until the lights are pointing straight down. I do not know if mine is a faulty unit or of two headlights is too much weight.

Thanks for the report. We have sold 100s of these and have only had a couple complaints. I think you may be right in that the unit cannot support two of the heavier lights without flexing. For heavier lights we recommend the TerraCycle Accessory Mount.

Could you order the Minoura "space grip" version? Similar to "swing grip" without swing.
