Everything you need to upgrade your trike with the Shimano Nexus Inter-8 Hub. This kit features the Premium Red-Band 8-Speed Nexus Hub, custom 20-inch wheel, Schwalbe liner, and Revo shifter (or JTek shifter upgrade).

Kit comes with a 18T and 21T sprocket.
You can order other sprockets individually here.

If you add a tire and tube to your order we will install them at no additional charge.

We recommend this upgrade be used together with the Schlumpf High Speed Drive, or a single chainring in the front end. If you will be using the this wheel with a triple chainring setup, we recommend either modifying your derailleur to take up chain slack, or using our Surly Singleator chain tensioner.

Installation is free for local customers, otherwise we can walk you through it over the phone.

Note: If you will be using this wheel kit on a trike with a triple chainring front derailleur setup we recommend pairing it with the Alfine chain tensioner.

New Option: We are now offering the JTek bar end shifter as an option for the Alfine and Nexus wheel hubs.

Easy Adjustment
It's easy to keep the Nexux shifting smoothly. Just set the shifter to 4th gear and then adjust the cable so the yellow marks line up.

Is this hub compatible to be used with disk brakes like the Alfine?

No. This hub is roller brake compatible, but cannot be used with disc brakes.
