If you are looking for an easy way to get some higher gearing for your trike the Capreo system might be the answer. The 9-tooth cog will give you abut 20% higher gearing than your stock wheel.

Our Capreo wheel will fit on any 20-inch rear wheeldrive tadpole trike trike with a 9-speed cassette and derailleur setup.

These wheels are 36-spoke and are hand built with the Alex DA16 performance rims.
Wheel comes with Capreo Cassette and Skewer.

could you mount the capreo on a velocity aeroheat wheel (36 hole)?

The 20inch velocity rim is a 32 hole. We have other comparable rims though for 36h.

Would it be possible to have these wheels set up for Schrader valves? (Using pre-treated 'True-Goo' or 'Slime' tubes is kinda convenient for those living in goathead country...)

I have this installed on my new Alize and am amazed by the awesome added speed! It was by far the simplest "upgrade" gearing available. Next I need to send my boom to have you install the Schlumpf High Speed Drive. I just hate to give up the ride!
