Now you can get a bolt-on replacement for the stock Delrin idlers that will make an immediate performance difference without killing your wallet. We suggest replacing only the two power idlers with these and leaving the return-side idlers stock.

These idlers are made by WizWheelz, Inc. from the same Delrin material as our stock TerraTrike idlers, but have been machined to roll with the chain better. The result is that they are quieter, smoother, and will last longer.

The Deluxe Idlers can be added to any stock idler setup (aftermarket), or can be added to any new trike as an upgrade.

Price is for one Deluxe Idler (includes sealed cartridge bearing and snap-ring, assembled).

Note: To use the Deluxe Idlers you will need to be using an 8 or 9-speed chain. The stock Path chain will not work.

Note: For the project builders we are also offering the chain keepers and spacers by using the drop down above. Two chain keepers can be stacked for Over/Under applications. You can also add the Standard Delrin idlers above (no sprockets, recommended for the return side). A typical configuration on the bolt would be: Chain Keeper(s) + Spacer + Deluxe Idler + Spacer + Standard Idler + Nut.

I would also like to recommend these Deluxe Idlers for anyone who owns a Zoomer. They made a noticeable and much-appreciated reduction in the level of noise coming from the chain drive. They are well worth the money, and should be considered a priority upgrade for all Zoomer owners.
