Custom KMX Viper

Get your own 2012 KMX Viper

This KMX Viper features a Performer hard shell seat, a 26" rear wheel, 16" front wheels, and our new Terracycle KMX idler upgrade kit.

Wheels
Our new KMX customizer makes it possible for you to put a 20, 24, or 26" wheel on the back of your KMX. You also have the option for 16" or 20" wheels on the front. On this trike we put a 26" wheel in the back and a 16" wheels in front for ultimate speed and control.

Seat
We have created custom mounts to accommodate installing a Performer seat as well as a Terratrike seat to satisfy whatever your seat wish may be. This particular trike has a Performer seat installed.

Idlers
Installed on this Viper is the upgraded Terracycle Idler kit made specifically for the KMX trike line. This idler kit makes the chain line run smoothly and very quiet.

How bad is the steering geometry with this set-up? Does steering geometry really matter?

While this particular configuration raises the rea slightly and drops the boom down some, the steering geometry does not feel adversely affected.

Hi guys...
...I see you put on the different seat, and 16's in front, 26" rear?, I think you did, but overall, can you say how this made the KMX a better ride??
Why did you make the choices made ??
Would you do it this way again ??
Thanks!!

These changes converted the Viper into the fastest KMX that we've built. A real rocket. The larger rear wheel makes it ride smoother too.
