What a beautiful trike, I own the Rotator Comfort 3, its seat angle is fixed and is too high for me. However it has a single gear at the bottom bracket, and a mid derailleur(with 8 cog) the rear derailleur has 9 cog, ive not met the hill I can't climb yet. I live in Canada and require a hill climber and a safe downhill machine. With a few modifications this trike could do it.

We can modify the gearing however you need it.

There are all sorts of gear modifications that can be made. The easiest is to move the gear range up or down by changing the front chainring or rear sprocket. To expand the gear range requires either adding the Schlumpf drive to the front and/or installing a new wheel kit with either a derailleur or higher-end transmission. Contact us directly to discuss your specific needs and we can come up with the right gearing solutions for you.

I have been a "traditional" bike cyclist for yrs and have enjoyed riding with my husband for 28yrs. I am now interested in a recumbent trike since I was diagnosed with MS 3 yrs ago and have lost my balance. I have fallen off my "traditional" bike every time I try to ride it. I'm frustrated, but not willing to give up riding! My legs are physically strong and I am in excellent shape. I ride a recumbent stationary bike several miles every day to stay fit. Is this the type of bike for me? I've never rode one! Suggestions?

Get a trike!
Depending on the type of terrain you ride on you may want something with a few more gears though. Consider the Path 8 or Path 8 DL.
