Adjustable Seat Positions
Our aluminum seat frame has four positions. Combined with our adjustable boom, the Commuter can accomodate most leg lengths.
Adjustable Seat Angle
AirZound 115dB Horn
The AirZound air horn makes sure that you are heard. This horn is capable of outputting 115dB of sound. The horn is rechargeable by pumping up the system with the included pump.
The AirZound air reservoir fits in the included bottle holder.
The Commuter comes standard with our custom aluminum rack and removeable Axiom Trunk Bags and Panniers.
Adjustable Boom Tube
The adjustable boom tube allows the trike to be fine tuned to the rider.
High Performance Idler Kit
When it comes to idlers, TerraCycle is king. We worked for months with TerraCycle to create an idler solution that would increase power and simplicity on the TerraTrike platform. Based on thousands of miles of refinement, the High Performance Idler Kit is the solution.
Rear Fender
Keep the water off your back. Included as stock on The Commuter is the Planet Bike rear fender.
Shimano Nexus Inter-8 Premium Red-Band Hub
The Nexus hub lets you shift at any time, even under load. So, whether you are coasting, or stopped at an intersection, you'll never be stuck in too high of a gear. You'll appreciate how smooth the shifting is through all the gears.
Linkage Steering
Our linkage steering is based on a proven kingpin design. This design provides a high level of control and isolates road vibrations from the hands.
Dual Mirrycle Mirrors
Being aware of your surroundings is the most important thing you can do to be safe. The Mirrycle Mirror is adjustable.
Keeping your Nexus shifting perfectly is as easy as shifting to 4th gear and twisting the cable adjuster until the yellow marks lined up. That's all there is to it.
Disc Brakes and Locking Parking Brake
The Commuter features independant right and left disk brakes. The left hand brake lever also serves as a parking brake by squeezing the brake lever and pushing in the locking button.
Adjustable Seat Angle
Some riders like to sit upright when they ride, and others like to lay back. That's why The Commuter's seat angle is adjustable. Just pull out the pins and lean the seat back.
The Axiom cargo bags include reflective strips that shine bright in car headlights. Be safe. Be seen.
Schlumpf High Speed Drive
Sometimes you are going uphill, and other times you are going down. No matter where you ride, the Schlumpf High Speed Drive gives you the gears you need. Combined with the Nexus Hub in the rear, The Commuter has a great gear range and can be shifted at anytime.
