The GT3 is a small trike with a big personality. Designed as an easily transportable trike so that you can fold it up to fit in your car or to take up less space in your shed, it's quick fold is achieved with only a 6mm Allen key for the single seat bolt and one quick release for the frame hinge. See how trike folds here.

This trike is ideal for weekend riders, commuters or even assisted touring. Made in a small and standard size, you should find one to suit you.
There is a weight limit of 265lbs for this trike, so if you're on the solid side, but still want a compactable trike, please check out the GTO. Pics shown with optional alloy rack and SPD combination pedals.

The most significant change with the new GT3 SeriesII is a redesign of the steering geometry. After some customer feedback, we decided that our entry level trike should have some changes to the "feel" of the steering to make new riders feel safer at speed or pulling on the brakes.

We have dubbed the new steering NSR (negative scrub radius) which is a change in the steering pivot angle to negate the brake feedback through the handlebars. Pulling on either brake results in minimal corrections required at the handlebars, we still advise customers to use BOTH brakes in an emergency stop.

With the new GT3 SeriesII steering geometry, some re-design needed to be done to accomodate. We have re-designed the kingpins (the steering component that holds the wheel) with a new threadless design, no longer a 24mm wrench required to remove the mirror posts, just a hex key! These new mounts are not compatible with any of our other models at this time.

The front fender mounts remain the same design, adjustable in and out, up and down and for rotation. The grab handles are mounted up a bit higher for customers who require some assistance for getting in and out of the trike seat. Can be used for another mounting point or a mirror extension too. All are hex key removable.

The new GT3 SeriesII steering has also had a change in the steering ratio to provide for a more definite feel at any speed. The handlebar tags have cutouts to reduce weight and look great too!
We have also added more self centering to make those long miles even easier than before.

The GT3 SeriesII also features a black anodized aluminum crank extension. We have custom made them in the past, but this is now a standard feature for this model as well the X3 and X5. Being anodized aluminum it also gave us the added feature of being able to add a scale and rotation guide. The scale is useful for multiple riders and the rotation line for aligning for rotation.

A smaller change is the narrowing of the rear "T" piece of the frame to reduce weight and lowered to move it further away from the chain. We have also added better rear fender clearance all round to better accomodate the GS Scorcher tires. The dropouts too have recieved a makeover to create better chain clearance and bigger cutouts to reduce weight.

Some more of the changes include a new chain guide pulley. It still features our hard wearing and quiet toothed design but also incorporates a smaller bearing with 8mm ID to bring it more in line with most other manufacturers and a circlip to hold the bearing in place for easy changeover. A through the frame attachment point has been created to make this area even more reliable.
