Sharon's Custom Gas Quad

Get your own Utah Trikes Quad

This Quad is decked out to be able to travel across the country! Every inch of it has custom work.

Swivel Seat

Solar Panel
We welded a custom mount for the Gorilla Solar Panel system Sharon wanted on her trike. She can charge her cell phone, mp3 player, etc. without having to ever use batteries!

Trailer
Sharon wants to take her dogs with her on her cross-country trip. She will tow them in the trailer and store dog food in the white large bins. To accommodate the large bins we made a custom platform and welded it to the rear of the gas motor.

Schlumpf High Speed Drive

Gas Motor

Custom Gas Tank

Safety Lights
These Reelight lights are magnetic powered, and Sharon will never have to worry about batteries.

Custom Headrest
To accomodate a headrest, we customized the seat to be able to mount it, as the original seat had no option for a headrest.

BB7 Brakes
To last on the long hall, Sharon wanted top of the line brakes, namely the Avid BB7 Disc Brakes.

I like alot of the components of this custom my question is Have you ever had solar panels atached to a bionx as a continues charger for the battery? Also have you ever built a quad with duel drive Bionex system? Can it be done? Can Aerospok wheels be used with the Bionex system repalcing the bionex hub is it adaptable for this use?

The wheel and gearing choices of the BionX are very limited.

A Ford 460 4-barrell would give that rig a lot more poop on hills. I think you should call it “Roadog” in honour of “Wild Bill” Gelbke. Bigger really is better – or at least heavier.
