TerraCycle makes the best idlers in the industry. Now available in 3 flavors. We stock the Sport, Aluminum Z, and the Titanium Elite Idler.

TerraCycle newest Idler is the Sport Series Idler which has been years in development. We wanted to give the same attributes to this idler that our Elite Series Idlers have been known for but in a more economical package. With ballistic nylon side plates and an aluminum cog, these idlers should give years of trouble free service and improve most drivetrains that had stock non-toothed idlers. Sizes of the Idlers are 2.75 inch diameter with a 15 tooth aluminum cog, or 2.5 inch diameter with the 14 tooth cog ($6.00 upcharge on the smaller idler). ABEC shielded bearings are standard.

This is the Elite Series Power side idler has beautifully machined side aluminum side plates and now a pair of Ceramic Bearings"(8mm only) which are machined to the tightest tolerances of any steel bearing come stock. Titaniuum cogs are standard on this idler since aluminum is now available on our 14/15 tooth Sport Series Idlers. This is the top of the line idler that outshines the competition by such a wide distance that the only idler even close to being as good is TerraCycle's own Sport idler, so they are really only competing with themselves for idler quality. They have been making and incrimentally upgrading it for years now. These idlers have proven themselves durable and functional while being the nicest idlers in the world cosmetically. We take great pride in the Elite idlers and have great confidence in their function as proven by thousands sold and giving day to day improvements in performance for so many makes and models of recumbents that have this upgraded idler.

The Aluminum Z Idler features the same lightweight housing used in the Elite Idler with an aluminum cog and ABEC 7 bearings.
