The stock idler set on the tandem kit is fine for casual cruising around town, but may not be ideal for high powered situations like hill climbing.

Our new High Performance Tandem Idler Kit removes the side-by-side idler setup, and elimates the radical chain angle caused by the stock idlers in some gears. Using a custom Power Idler clamp and special floating axles in the rear the chain stays straight.

The Complete Kit includes:
Captain Front: TerraCycle Power/Return Idlers and chain keeper
Captain Rear: TerraCycle Power/Return Idlers and chain keeper
Stoker Front: TerraCycle Power/Return Idlers and chain keeper
Stoker Rear: TerraCycle Power Idler, Custom Clamp, Custom Floating Idler Bolts, and chain keeper
