Torker’s latest edition of their popular adult 3-wheeler is now available as an electric assisted model. The added power to your pedaling comes from a battery-powered Protanium front hub, and can only be activated when the rider turns the cranks. A thumb-operated lever acts will throttle your power assist, and an LED indicator your battery’s charge. The Protanium battery is attached in the rear of the TriStar, underneath the basket. For charging, the 10amp battery easily slips in and out and plugs in to any outlet. Electrical assistance can be used for up to 25-40 miles (depending on rider weight and degree of terrain being ridden). Ideal for elderly or disabled riders who still wish to ride.

The motor and battery weigh about 16lbs.
