Besides the derailleur which hangs 2-3 inches from the ground, the ground clearance is very good. I'd say in the 8-10 inch range.

Is there any other means of storage. For example a place for a backpack or other type of bags?

There is an underseat cargo available.

Re storage: I just strapped a standard backpack to the tubes behind the seat and it's been working fine for me. My Sidewinder has done what I wanted it to: it's made riding fun again, so I really want to get out there on the bike path. Usually I end up riding farther than I'd originally planned, which says a lot.

What tires and tire pressure are used on this trike?

    They are 100psi Odysee tires.

    Nice trike!

Could I get the one piece polymer wheels instead of the spoke, on this model? Am I correct in assuming that one piece wheels hold their alignment indefinitely? Are the bearing assemblies in the polymer wheels on par with the spoke wheels offered? If not, could they be upgraded? Lastly, if I were to carry a complete, pressurized extra wheel, could it be made to quickly swap out, if any of the wheels went flat?
Seems like the front, side mount is different from the back fork mount.

The spoked wheels are actually the stronger of the wheels. The rear wheel is different than the fronts.
