The newest recumbent model to join the Sidewinder Cycle lineup is the RoadRunner. Durable, unsurpassed in comfort and safe to ride, the Roadrunner recumbent is the number one choice for recumbent enthusiasts.
The Roadrunner recumbent trike features: Ultra comfort seat (fully adjustable and ventilated mesh) 14 inch seat height from ground (easy entry and dismount) Folding for storage and transportation 7 speed Durable steel frame (lasts a lifetime, weight limit 425lbs) Sitting nearly 14 inches off the ground with side rails that act as a brace, you can easily sit on the recumbent trike and use the rails to help you stand when it’s time to dismount. Others claim to have the most comfortable recumbent but Sidewinder recumbent riders know better. Because of the width of our seats and the mesh fabric, even our competitors agree (off the record) that Sidewinder recumbents are the most comfortable recumbent in the world.
If you can sit, you can ride. Sidewinder Cycle trikes could be called the Cadillac of recumbents. A trip down the bike path, to the store or just having fun around town, this recumbent is guaranteed to be your number one choice. If storage is your question, all Sidewinder trikes arefolding recumbents. In fact, once completely folded, a Sidewinder recumbent can fit in the trunk of most cars.

How does this 7 speed handle hills?

With the 2-wheel drive it climbs hills well, but if you have a lot of hills you will want more gearing.

I can't help but notice the 425lb. capacity on your trikes, but how well do these things fit those of us that are "waistline challenged?"

The steering on the Sidewinder is very accomodating to larger riders.

Is there a head rest available for this trike. Looks fun but makes my neck hurt just thinking about a long ride. And like the electric assist available for this model how hard to install is it.

The Sidewinder has one of the tallest seats and is designed to give full head support. There is a headrest available here.
