Share your comments below: Thanks Guys, the Catrike Road is my first trike and it has been terrific. I wasn't sure about the seat angle, but it has been perfect for me. I took the headrest off because I never used it. It took me a couple weeks to get the handlebars adjusted perfectly, but the trike fits me like a glove now. I'm about ready for the Schlumpf drive. It's so easy to run in top gear all the time. Posted by Frank S 03/07/2009 12:42:36 AM Does the Catrike Road come with velocity aeroheat wheels? The decsription you guys give are "Catrike black aluminum" wheels. Posted by ron 07/24/2009 04:03:34 PM They are similar to the AeroHeat, but are an OEM rim sourced by Catrike. When mounting a rear rack on the Catrike Road is there plenty of room for panniers or does the seat frame interfere? Do you have a picture that illustrates this? Thanks! Posted by Sam 09/23/2009 04:00:55 AM The rack works perfectly for hanging panniers. Take a look through our recently built trike pages and I believe we have some pictures there. Is there much chain slap because of the length of chain or does the tensioner take it all up? Posted by jonesy 03/15/2010 10:05:50 AM Chain slap has not been a big issue with any of our trikes. The rear derailleur tensions the chain appropriately. does the 275 lb. total weight capacity change with the addition of a trailer? Posted by jonesy 03/26/2010 08:26:43 AM No. The weight capacity is not affected by the trailer weight. I've had this ROAD bike for 2 years+use it almost everyday running my 5 Siberian Huskys. It has gone thru spills, turn overs being dragged and it had held together and still rides fantastic. Love it! Would buy another one in a heartbeat. Especially if your dogs need to run. I live in Florida, so it's the Flordia version of the Ididarod. Posted by 19KARAT 05/04/2010 06:10:28 AM Can a 26" wheel be fitted on the Catrike Road? Posted by Jason 06/07/2010 04:20:58 AM Yes, we have a 26-inch wheel option that works on the Road. Just look up "extension" in our catalog. Thank you Ashley for the great answers. Your website is awesome. I'm going to purchase a trike from you guys soon. Posted by Chris CA. 09/30/2010 04:03:05 PM |
