Richard's Snow Quad

Get your own Utah Trikes Quad
When we made our first Quad it was to gain traction in the snow. This Quad features 24-inch wheels, a wide gear range, and lots of extras!

On the rear there are Schwalbe Big Apple 24 x 2.35 tires on hand-built Rhyno Lite XL wheels.

On the front there are Schwalbe Big Apple 24 x 2.0 tires on hand-built Rhyno Lite XL wheels.

The Shimano Alfine 8-speed transmission serves as the middrive.

This Quad has Avid BB7 disc brakes all around with CleanSweep rotors.

The Avid BB7 calipers has tremendous stopping power and are easy to adjust. The inner brake pad can be adjsuted with the smaller red knob, while the outer pad is adjusted with the larger red knob on the backside of the caliper.

The AirZound Air Horn is conveniently mounted on the left handlebar for easy access. This horn produces a deafening blast to make sure cars know you are there.

The Jtek shifter works with the Alfine transmission.

The front hubs are made by Velocity.
