The 2009 TerraTrike Sport Elite

TerraTrike has renamed their lineup of aluminum inderict/linkage steering trikes. What were once known as the Access, Sport, and Race are now known as the Sport, Sport Elite, and the Sport Pro, respectively. The components of the Sport Elite are the same as the original Sport with a fabulous new frame.

Here is a good example of the premium welds on this new frame. Seriously, this is the finest welding that we've seen. This brace adds support to the frame and doubles as a bottle cage mount.

Steering Kingpins
The TerraTrike steering uses bushings on the kingpins. The axle assemblies are common on all the TerraTrikes with the exception of the Zoomer.

The new Sport Series frames have an incredible anodized finish. This finish is incredibly hard and looks amazing. The TerraTrike logo is lazer etched on the frame tube.

The new frame has a newer, larger welded wheelstay. Not that it's any better than the old one, but it sure looks cool!

The Sport Elite features a 27-speed drivetrain with Shimano Bar-End shifters.

The TerraTrike seat is adjustable with quick-release seat stays.

The Sport Elite comes stock with the Deluxe Delrin sprocketed idlers.
