Two Custom Expeditions

Get your own Catrike Expedition (promo price)
David called me and said he wanted two custom Expeditions. Not our usual custom stuff, but I really like the way they turned out. We've got two shades of blue, fast tires, and some high-end Shimano components.

Deore XT 11-34 Cassette
Nice wide gearing with great even steps between the gears. Both of these trikes have an 11-34 9-speed Deore XT cassette.

Shimano Ultegra
In the front we have the Ice Grey Ultegra crankset with matching Ultegra front derailleur. The Eggbeater C pedals happen to match the Ice Grey color too.

Adjustable Boom
Catrike has the best boom in the industry. The top index groove keeps it from twisting. The boom clamp has quick releases that make adjusting the boom an easy operation.

Left Grip
The DuraAce bar end shifters are paired perfectly to the Ultegra and XT derailleur. Re used the SRAM rubber grips instead of the normal Catrike foam grips. The wireless computer is attached with the Nob XL accessory mount, so it can be moved around easily.

TerraCycle Titanium Idlers
We upgraded the power idler to the Titanium version of the TerraCycle idler.

Deore XT Rear Derailleur

The New Seat
Bryce adjusts the straps on the new Catrike seat. This seat has enough pockets to take care of your basic cargo needs.

Quick Release Axle
All the Catrike models now come stock with the quick release axles. This makes pulling off the front wheels an easy operation.

Schwalbe Stelvios
The Stelvios have been one of our favorite racing tires. Sadly, they have been discontinued by Schwalbe. Well, we were lucky enough to get a case of them in our last shipment. Dave was lucky too:)
