How would this stand work with a trike? It looks like there is only one clamp.

It clamps on to the main frame under the seat. You want to center the trike as much as possible to keep it balanced.

Will this stand work equally as well on trikes and LWB recumbents such as an Easy Racer?

We have found the as long as the weight is under 38lbs the stand works well. With larger trikes (deltas) we will typically use two stands.
