The ride on Saturday July 14th was a blast! Five of us met at 9:00am to ride our recumbent trikes up the Provo River Park Trail. We started at the Mt. Timpanogos parking lot and rode up to Vivian Park and back. We gave out tons of cards along the trail and about seven test rides at Vivian Park and Bridal veil falls. Utah Trikes was a big hit on the trail.
The trail is paved and almost completely shaded with trees. It is a gradual incline except for a few short steeper parts heading up, and obviously exactly opposite heading back, which is a great reward while heading back.
Riding back was a blast. With our advanced aerodynamics we couldn’t help but pass other groups of bikers heading back down the trail. It’s just so much fun zipping around those corners on a Utah Trike; always using safety of course. It was a great ride and I can’t wait to do it again. Below is some video of the ride we took with the ATC2000 helmet cam.
This is our first official Utah Trikes ride at the Provo River Parkway. All the video was shot using the ATC-2000 Helmet cam. Although the quality is "helmet camera" quality, you can see many beautiful parts of the Provo River trail. It's a blast to ride. Contact us for future rides or see our Events page for a complete listing.
