The TerraTrike Custom Path Series of Internal Hub-Based Trikes
Building on the newly released WizWheelz TerraTrike Path model featuring a three-speed Sturmey Archer hub transmission, Utah Trikes is completing the line of Path models by offering three more Custom Path configurations. All four models in the Path series feature internal hub transmissions. The Path Plus features the Shimano Nexus Inter-8 Premium transmission. The Path Smooth features the Nuvinci CVP continuously variable transmission. The Path Extreme features the Rohloff 14-speed Speedhub transmission. Ashley Guy, of Utah Trikes, said "I have been a zealot of internal hubs for a long time, and believe that this new line of trikes will appeal to a wide range of people."
Internal hub transmissions allow the rider to shift while coasting, stopped, or while pedaling. Those that have not ridden for years, or never learned to shift derailleur-type bikes can enjoy the ride without worrying about shifting techniques.
All four models of the TerraTrike Custom Path series are scheduled to be available in the first part of January. Initial supply will be limited and customers are suggested to get preorders in now. The TerraTrike Path will be available from WizWheelz.com and all WizWheelz Authorized dealers. The Path Plus, Path Smooth, and Path Extreme models will be exclusively available from Utah Trikes.
